The Enchanted Players will be holding auditions for our VAUDEVILLE production Monday, September 8th at 7:30 PM at the Darress Theatre on Main Street in Boonton, NJ. For directions go to www.darresstheatre.com.

Auditions are open to the public. An accompanist will be provided. Please come with sheet music and be prepared to sing one song if you are interested in the musical numbers. In addition, wear comfortable clothes as a portion of the audition may focus on dance for certain parts. A recent photo and a resume are appreciated, but not required. Please come prepared with any outdates.

Any and all acts and special talents appropriate for the time period (1910-1930) will be considered. We are seeking, dancers, magicians, jugglers, acrobats, accordion players, singing banjo players, a barbershop quartet, etc. Think Vaudeville and come to WOW the creative team!

With the experience and talent of Director Jay Mills and musical direction by the accomplished Regan Ryzuk, the Darress Theatre will be transformed into the original Vaudeville house, which it was built for. During the vaudeville era, the Darress Theatre hosted such notable entertainers as Al Jolson, Abbott and Costello, Burns and Allen, and Harry Houdini. The Darress also is a historically significant architectural monument as one of the only, and possibly the last, "reverse theatres" in the country.
