Who's Who in the Cast
Beth Bernstein (Snowflake) This is Beth's 3rd production with EPI. She is delighted to be "Snowflake" the goat and dreams of one day playing a real little girl.
Maggie Calcagne (Goat) This is Maggie's first play, and Heidi is one of her favorite stories.
Emily Corrao (Barli) Has been part of the EPI acting class under the direction of Carmen Artis for 2 years. In the fall of 2000, Emily appeared as the Munchkin in the Wonderful World of Oz here at the Darress Theater.
Xa Xa Hacker-Mullen (Goatherd) Has studies theter since she was 5. She loves working with EPI. This is her 5th production with them, and she would like to give special thanks to Mary, Regan, Carol, JoAnn, and all the troupe members for their help and support.
Dana Kluczyk (Goat) This is her first performance. She loves musicals and enjoys working alongside her cousin, Justine.
Alyssa Koreen (Klara) This is Alyssa's 4th theater performance. She played Tessie in Annie, Wendy in Peter Pan, and Patsy in Recess. She has recently gotten involved in TV commercials, and can be seen in Verizon DSL and Hasbro E-Cara. "I have especially enjoyed working with Director JoAnn Oakes and Asst Director, Maureen Rogalski. I dedicate this performance to my parents, my sister, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins who were in my first audiences and remain my biggest fans.
Jessica Lepkowski (Goat) Loves to sing dance, and play piano and flute. Jessica has played the role of "Tessie" in the Evergreen Dinner Theater presentation of Annie.
Justine Magnusson (Heidi) She made her theatrical debut in the Wizard of Oz at the Rockaway Townsquare Playhouse. Other shows include: Joseph, Cinderella, Jack the Ripper, the young "Gypsy Rose Lee" in Gypsy and "Rosie" in Bye Bye Birdie. You can see her this holiday season returning as "Sabrina the Elf" in the Ryzuk/Moran production of Santa and the Candy Angel. When not performing, she can be found playing the flute, cheerleading, dancing, playing softball, or singing with her brother, Matthew. She dedicates this performace to her Poppi who alway loved to hear her sing. "Thank you JoAnn for having faith in me! Good luck to cousin Dana, Alyssa, Justin and the rest of this wonderful and talented cast".
Dave McDonald (Grandfather) This is Dave's fourth show with EPI. He was the "Father" in Hansel and Gretel, and the "Cowardly Lion" in the Wonderful World of Oz. He is honored to be on stage with such a talented cast and crew. Dave thanks JoAnn and Carol for their direction and dedication during this show. So "Come Along" and enjoy the show.
Tom McGinness (Herr Sesseman) A retired businessman who enjoys the arts. He performed in 2 community productions of 1776 and last year at the Darees in Jack the Ripper. He is the chairperson of the Boonton Concert Committee.
Barbara Metelsky (Aunt Dete) This is Barbara's second production with EPI. Last year, she played the "Wicked Witch" in the Wonderful World of Oz. She has appeared at the Darress as "Polly Nichols" in Jack the Ripper. Barbara performs with several other theater groups including Eintre' Acte and the Jefferson Community Players. Favorite roles include "Ms. Merkle" in Bye Bye Birdie, "Phyllis Owens" in Babes in Arms, "Ling" in Anything Goes, and Ms Greer and "Sophie" in Annie. Barbara has also performed in many cabarets and benefit concerts. Barbara thanks JoAnn, Carol, and Maureen for this wonderful opportunity, and her voice teacher, Dr. Christopher Ameson, for his expert teaching and constant encouragement.
Jessica Minor (Goatherd) Jessica has been taking dance classes at the Wyckoff School of Dance for six years. This is her first theatrical performance with the Enchanted Players.
Justin Nako (Peter) Justin is happy to be performing once again with EPI. This is his fourth EPI production. Justin has appeared in Jack the Ripper, You're A Good Man Charlie Brown, The Pied Piper, and most recently was seen at the Paper Mill Playhouse production of New Voices 2001. He would like to thank JoAnn for this wonderful opportunity, and las but definately not least, his mom for all her support and love. "I couldn't have done it without you."
Adriel Sevener (Goatherd) This is her first show with EPI. She has performed extensively elsewhere and enjoys singing classical music.
Lila Sevener (Goat) This is her first show with the Enchanted Players. She has performed with All Children's Theater previously.
Joseph Sikkema (Goatherd) Has performed in many productions and concerts. This is his second show for EPI.
Michael True (Sebastian) As always, Michael is once again thrilled to be a participant in his 6th show with EPI. His last outing was as the "Gnome" in Snow White and Rose Red. He is most appreciative to EPI for giving him the opportunity to experience theater performance. Offstage, Michael is a piano instructor.

The Crew
JoAnn Oakes (Director) JoAnn is excited again to be working with the Enchanted Players. She keeps busy running their family horse farm, chairing the "Save Our Split Rock Committee" and serving on the EPI Board of Directors as VP. JoAnn has worked in almost every aspect of theater, both onstage and behind the scenes.
Carol Middleton (Musical Director) Carol has enjoyed performing as the "Queen" in Sleeping Beauty, the "Stepmother: in Hansel and Gretel, and "Aunt Lee" in Little Red Riding Hood, all Ryzuk and Ryzuk orginal productions. She has also served as musical director for Charlie Brown and the Wonderful World of Oz for EPI.
Cheryl Amacker (Choreographer) Cheryl is happy to return to the Enchanted Players where she cas las seen as the Cat in Hansel and Gretel. Favorite choreographic efforts include Tommy, Joseph ..., Wizard of Oz, Leader of the Pack, and Showboat. Thnks to JoAnn, Maureen and kids.
Jon Bernstein (Stage Manager) Although Jon has worked on the crew of Snow White and Rose Red and Pied Piper this is his first time as stage manager. When not helping out with the Enchanted Players he can be found pursuing his other hobbies, guitar, banjo and tap dancing.
Greg Cilmi (Set Design & Construction) When not building sets, Greg graces the Darress Theater stage with his wonderful singing voice and many outstanding performaces.
Kevin Fisher (Lighting Director) Kevin has worked on several shows at the Darress and enjoys doing the lights and special effects. He hopes to work many more times with the great people who perform here.

Christie Oakes (Producer) This is Christie's first producing job ever. She has had leading roles in many shows of EPI such as Rapunzel, Snow White and Rose Red, and Sleeping Beauty. She was also in the Ryzuk's new musical, Jack the Ripper as "Mary Kelly". She wishes to tell the cast and crew to "break a leg - you are all wonderful". She would like to tell her mother that it is great to see her back in the directors chair. Good show everyone and remember theater can be an escape from a crazy world. Enjoy.
Maureen Rogalski (Assisstant Director) This is Maureen's first time as Asst. Director for the theatre. Previously, she has been seen onstage in Cosi at DLT, Jack the Ripper and Sleeping Beauty with EPI. A recent graduate of Seton Hall, she hopes to pursue a career in film directing. She has written and directed some short films and worked as the 2nd Asst. Director for the film, Dead Dogs Lie which will be released this December. She would like to thank JoAnn for giving her this opportunity and her family and friends for their love and encouragement.
Heather Van Leer (Light Board) This is the third time Heater lends her talents to the EPI light board. Prior shows: The Pied Piper and Snow White and Rose Red.
Lizette Zucca (Sound Board) Besides acting as secretary on the EPI Board of Directors, Lizette wears many hats wroking on EPI productions. "Happy to be doing it again!" This time on sound.
