| Allie Altieri -Annie-
Allie is in the 6th grade at Randolph Middle School. She has performed
for the past 6 years at The Baker Theatre and The Darress Theater.
She sings in St. Matthew's Children's Choir, RMS Chorus and Randolph
District Choir. Allie's hobbies are singing, dancing, reading, playing
piano and violin. She plays softball and has been a Girl Scout for
7 years. |
| Carmen Artis -My Fair
Lady- Carmen has performed at the Off-Broadway venues of St. Peters
and John Houseman Theatres as well as many smaller theaters throughout
NYC. She has appeared in numerous productions in NJ, PA and NY, most
notably with the Northeast Lyric Opera, Scranton Opera IV, and the
NJ State Opera. Carmen has sung under the batons of maestros Andre
Previn and Michael Tilson Thomas with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra.
She has appeared in the NJ Pops Symphony Orchestra, The Cape May Arts
Center, The Watchung Arts Center, The Papermill Playhouse, Reese Auditorium,
the Community Theatre in Morristown, Montclair, Summit's First Night
celebrations, and the Bloomfield Civic and Garden State Concert Bands.
Carmen has concertized with many jazz notables such as pianists Rio
Clemente, Lennie Argese and Regan Ryzuk. |
| Claire Buesser -Annie-
Claire first appeared on the Darress stage in Rumpelstiltskin. She
played Kate in Annie last spring, and was part of the
chorus in Cinderella last month. She studies piano, clarinet, voice,
dance and acting. |
| Ron Buesser -Orchestra,
My Fair Lady- Ron has sung Countertenor, Baritone, and Tenor for oratorio
roles, opera companies, professional choruses and jazz choirs. Last
seen onstage at the Darress Theatre as "King Special" in
Rumpelstiltskin, Ron has since been spotted banging away on one thing
or another down in the pit. |
| Sara Cerasiello -Annie-
Sara is excited to be back onstage at the Darress Theater. This is
her third performance with the Enchanted players. She has also been
taking play lessons for A Christmas Carol at her school. She is delighted
to be back working with JoAnn in the Best Of Broadway and wishes her
a lot of luck. Good luck everyone and have some fun!!! Do a great
job! |
| Gregory Cilmi -Phantom
of the Opera, Gypsy- Greg is pleased to be working once again with
the Enchanted Players, having performed in almost all of the EPI/Ryzuk
musicals. Most recently, Greg was seen in Full Moon Cafe, singing
the music of Michael Huseman. Look for Greg once more at the Darress
Theatre on Dec. 11-13 in the play Danny and the Deep Blue Sea. Thanks
go out to Meredith, for her patience and her understanding. |
| Emily Corrao -Annie-
Emily is thrilled to be back with EPI. She was last seen as "Pepper"
in Annie here at the Darress. Emily has been performing since age
4. This is her 5 th production with EPI. Some of her favorite roles
were: a munchkin in The Wonderful World of Oz,"Barli" in
Heidi,and part of the chorus in Hansel and Gretel. Currently she studies
voice ,dance, and takes acting at the Papermill. She would like to
thank JoAnn for another great opportunity. |
| Alyssa DeAlesandro
-Annie- Alyssa is excited to be working with The Enchanted Players
once again. She has appeared at the Darress Theatre in Cinderella
as a chorus member, and in Annie as Annie. Other performances
include the BG Theatre Club's productions of The Music Man Jr., Bye,
Bye Birdie, The Pajama Pajama Game, and Once On This Island Jr. Alyssa
attended the Paper Mill Playhouse's Summer Intensive Conservatory
Program and performs with Sandcastle Productions in The New Kid. She
would like to thank Mr. Kramer, Mia, JoAnn, Heather, Paul and Chris
for all their support. |
| Debbie Gregory -My
Fair Lady, Evita- Debbie has been a featured vocalist in in a variety
of venues through out New Jersey and some parts of Europe. She has
performed the roles of Rosalinda in Die Fledermaus and
Susanna in The Marriage of Figaro. Two favorite musical
theater roles that she has played are Luisa in The Fantasticks,
and the Baker's Wife in Into the Woods. Ms. Gregory lives
in Paramus with her husband and her three year old son. |
| Claire Gricko -Les
Miserables, Gypsy- This is Claire's 2nd production with Enchanted
Players.Her past performances included Annie Sophie, and
appearances with Entr'Acte Theater Ensemble in The Wizard of OZ Wicked
Witch, Steel Magnolias Mlynn, Scrooge Mrs
Fezziwig ,La Cage Aux Folles Jacqueline. Claire
has also worked with the production side of community theater, directing,
costumes and set design and any other job that needed doing . To the
cast and crew of BOB. Thanks, you were wonderful. Working with this
theatre group has been a joy. To JoAnn "thanks for letting me
join the fun." To my Family, I love you all very much. |
| Laurie Hall -Set Engineer,
Showboat- Laurie's theatrical experience started at the age of fourteen
at The Montclair Operetta Club. Since then, she has appeared in theaters
from New York to Miami in such roles as "Bloody Mary" South
Pacific, "Carrie" Carousel, "Babe" Pajama Game
and "Aldonza" LaMancha. She originated the role of "Annie
Chapman" in Jack the Ripper here in New Jersey, as well as in
New York City. She is also a set designer and has won awards for her
art work, including the New Jersey Art Directors Award. |
| John Hammel -Les Miserables-
John has performed at the Off-Broadway venues St. Peters and John

on Wall Street, The Hilton and Plaza Hotels in N.Y.C., the Bickford
and Community Theatres in Morristown. John also performs with his
wife Carmen Artis; recitals of opera, operretta, broadway and selections
from the Great American Songbook. They perform annually at the prestigious
Chalfonte Hotel's Concerts By Candlelight, in Cape May as well as
in recital throughout NJ. John hosts a weekly classical, jazz and
avante-garde radio program, Saturday mornings from 6-10 A.M. heard
both on the airwaves and over the internet at WNTI, F.M., 91.9 and
www.wnti.org. |
| Scott Hart -Kiss Me
Kate- Scott has been doing theater in the area for many years. He
recently appeared in La Cage au Folles at the Bickford Theater. He
graced the Darress stage in the world premiere of Rumplestiltskin
as the King. |
| Michael Healy -Evita,
Chicago- This is Michael's third production with EPI. He appeared
as "Uncle Lon" in Little Red, and Rooster Hannigan
in Annie. By day, Michael is an assistant principal at Columbia High
School in Maplewood, and directed their production of A Funny Thing
Happened On The Way To The Forum. Other directing credits include
Barnum, Annie, The Wizard of Oz, Guys and Dolls, Rumors, Lend Me A
Tenor, and Mousetrap for the Small Town and Fancy Players of Mahwah.
He appeared as Charlie Brown in The Barn Theatre's production
of You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown. Michael is an accomplished magician
and resides here in Boonton. |
| Jessica Lepkowski -Annie-
Jessica is happy to be back with EPI for her fifth show. She has appeared
as Candy in Annie, and Retinue in Rumplestiltskin.
Other EPI credits include Cinderella and Heidi. She is part of the
traveling show, The New Kid (Sandcastle Productions). She can be heard
in Jeff DeSmedt's recording of "Big Jeff" (background vocals)
and also appeared in The Evergreen Dinner Theater production of Annie
Tessie. She plays piano and flute, and studies acting,
dance and voice. She would like to thank her family and friends for
supporting her, and of course she wishes luck to this wonderful cast! |
| Dave McDonald -My Fair
Lady, Les Miserables, Showboat- Dave has appeared in several Enchanted
Players performances including Heidi (Grand Father), Hansel &
Gretel (Father), and Jack the Ripper. Dave resides in Newfoundland
and is steadily involved in community theatre for the last six years.
Dave has performed in Jefferson, West Milford, Parsipanny, and Boonton. |
| Jay Mills -Damn Yankee-
Jay's affinity to the "show business" started at an early
age when he auditioned for the legendary Broadway Director, George
Abbot and was offered a role in the National Company of Kiss and Tell.
His career was short-lived as his father said, "My kid is going
to college first". Always on the fringe of the "biz",
Jay decided on theatre as an avocation. Many plays as an actor and
director, he considers the baseball manager, in Damn Yankees as one
of his favorite musical comedy parts. As for straight plays, it's
Da in Da and Willie in The Sunshine Boys in
a dead heat. He has directed over 40 shows, musicals and non-musicals. |
| Jessica Minor -Annie-
Jessica, age 11, is from Mahwah, NJ and returns to EPI for her fourth
show. She recently performed at a benefit for The Westchester Foundation
for Autism
. She performed as Mary Rogers in an equity
national summer tour of The Will Rogers Follies. She also took part
in Broadway's A Christmas Carol. She performs with others in this
cast in Sandcastle Productions' The New Kid, and was also accepted
into the Paper Mill Junior Summer Conservatory of 2002 and 2003. Jessica
also played the lead role in the NYU student film Dog Day. She can
be seen in several Nickelodeon commercials as well. Jessica thanks
JoAnn for making this experience possible, and her parents and brother
for all of their support. |
| Greg Moran -Kiss Me
Kate- Greg performed at the Darress in Rapunzel and Hansel & Greytl.
He was the theater manager of the Town Square Playhouse for many years
and directed such classics as Macbeth, Streetcar Named Desire, King
Lear, and Hanalet. Greg has designed and built sets for Centenary
Stage, Bergen County Playhouse, and the Bickford Theater. Currently,
Greg is the manager of Select Comfort in Short Hills Mall. |
| Christie Oakes - Asst.
Director, Phantom of the Opera, Sound of Music, Chigago-Christie has
performed in many of EPI's productions including the part of Grace
in Annie and Maria in Sound of Music. Other EPI credits
include Rapunzel and Sleeping Beauty. Recently she was seen in the
Ridge Light Opera's production of Pirates of Penzance, and September
Song. Film and TV credits include Hearth and Home, Sex and the City,
and Marci X. Christie is happy to be sharing the stage with such extreme
talent and truly wonderful people. She would like to thank her family
for all their love and support. |
| Angie Paez -Gypsy,
Chicago- Angelina is terribly excited be involved with such a fantastic
production. She has been performing since before she can remember
and aspires to make musical theatre her career in the not-so-distant
future. Favorite roles include "Julia" in Two Gentlemen
Of Verona, "Lily St. Regis" in Annie & "Adelaide"
in Guys And Dolls. Special thanks to Mommy, Daddy, & Jonathan
for all of their love and support. Ducks, Joe, Laura James, Katie,
Liv, El, & Emiloo, how wonderful my life is now you're (all) in
the world! |
| Angie Retano -Gypsy
& Chicago- This is Angie's second performance with EPI and she
is thrilled to be part of The Best of Broadway. Angie would like to
thank her family for all their love and support, and the members of
EPI for their encouragement. Who knew I could learn Hungarian. |
| Maureen Rogalski -Chicago-
Last seen backstage with EPI as the stage manager for Steel Magnolias
and Annie. She is happy to return to the stage and work with her very
talented friends. When not at the theatre, she volunteers at film
festivals and makes movies, her passion. She wishes to thank all those
along the way who truly make her life enjoyable. |
| Chelsey Sorbo -Annie-
Chelsey has been in The Wizard of Oz, Annie Jr., The Nuncracker, two
produtions of Annie, and many church plays. She is in her school chorus
and has been in one of her school's show Camp Talkaho. She studies
voice with Laura Menard. Chelsey studies dance, tap, ballet and jazz.
She is 11 years old and in the 6th grade. She would like to be in
many more shows in the future! |
| Nicole Sperone -Annie-
Nicole is a 7th grader at Randolph Middle School. This is her second
time working with Director JoAnn Oaks. She recently played "Duffy"
in Annie. Nicole has been dancing for 10 yrs. and singing for 5. She
enjoys theatre and cheerleading. Lot's of love to Mom, Dad & Jasper,
thanks for everything you do!! |
| Michael True -My Fair
Lady, Stage Manager- He first experienced the joys of vocal harmony
holding down the bass in his high school glee club. Add to that a
couple of church choirs and a shower stall and that just about sums
it up - this guy just loves to sing. Hey, Annette and Lizette, "want
to do some a capella." |
| Samantha Turret -Annie-This
is Samantha's 4th show on the Darress Theatre Stage, having previously
performed in Hansel & Gretel, Rumplestiltskin, and Annie. She
has also performed in numerous shows at the Brundage Park Playhouse,
and is currently appearing in the SandCastle Productions Show, The
New Kid. Samantha is 12 years old and is in the 7th grade at Randolph
Middle School. A special thanks to Joanne for this opportunity &
hi to all my orphan friends from Annie - it was great to see you guys
again. |
| Krysten Wagner -Annie-
Seven year old Krysten Wagner is thrilled to be back at the Darress
for The Best of Broadway after performing the role of Molly
in Annie. Krysten has appeared in several television commercials,
print ads and a new music video with singer/songwriter Seal from his
new album Seal IV - "Love's Divine". She can be seen in
the off-Broadway production of The People Garden playing the dual
roles of Claudine and Ellen. |
| Ralph Wallace -My Fair
Lady, Guys and Dolls, Sound of Music- Last seen at the Darress as
"Capt. Von Trapp" in the Sound of Music. Other EPI credits
include "The Bartender" in Jack The Ripper, and Repunzil.
Other area performances - "Baloo the Bear" in The Growing
Stages' The Jungle Book, "Cliff Bradshaw" in Cabaret at
the Black River Playhouse, and "Sir Harry" in Once Upon
a Mattress at the Barn Theater. Film credits include - The Man Who
Knew His Needs, and most recently in the yet to be released indi-film
4 For Dinner, as "Thaddeus Lane". |
| Annette Winter - Gypsy
and Chicago - Annette is thrilled to be doing these songs in BOB as
they are some of her dream roles. Annette appeared in
EPI's production of Cinderella as The Stepmother, and
Truvy in Steel Magnolias. She directed Brundage Park Playhouse's
production of Wait Until Dark, and Little Women. Annette participated
in Mary and Regan Ryzuk's backers reading in NYC as Elizabeth
Stride for Jack the Ripper. Favorite roles include Queen
Agravane in Once Upon A Mattress, The Nurse in Medea,
Nellie in Jekyl & Hyde, Ouiser in Steel
Magnolias, Miss Jones and Smitty (not at the
same time) in How to Succeed, Yente in Fiddler on the
Roof, Sister Hubert in Nunsense, Ms Sherman
in Fame, and Luce in Boys From Syracuse. Annette also
appeared in the Broadway Production, The Prince of Grand Street, as
Mrs. Schumaker which starred Robert Preston. Annette would
like to thank JoAnn, Regan, Lois and the rest of the BOB cast and
crew for making this production such a delight. |
| Lizette Zuccalmaglio-Chicago-
Lizette is happy to be a part of Best of Broadway. She can usually
be found floating around the Darress helping out on one show or another.

| Who's Who in the Crew |
| JoAnn Oakes-Director/Producer/Props-JoAnn
has worked in almost every aspect of theatre, both onstage and behind
the scenes in both the U.S. and abroad. She has directed Heidi, Sound
Of Music, Annie and The Best of Broadway for the Enchanted Players.
She will be directing The Music Man this spring for EPI. When not
running their horse farm, being Chairman of Save Our Splitrock, and
President of The Enchanted Players, she enjoys reading, riding, and
playing golf. She would like to thank her family, as always, for their
support, and to the very talented cast who gave her the opportunity
to direct 12 shows at the same time. |
| Regan Ryzuk-Musical Director-
Regan has composed seven musical fairytales for EPI based on Bros.
Grimm stories as well as one mini-musical for children and two Christmas
specials. The Darress stage has also seen his Jack the Ripper which
is being developed in a joint venture by Newpalm Productions and Kingston
Productions for a West End Production in London. He contributes original
music on an ongoing basis to many TV shows. Among these are MTV, 20/20,
Drew Carey, America's Most Wanted, All My Children, As The World Turns,
One Life To Live, The Young and the Restless, General Hospital, L.A.
Law, The View, True Hollywood, E Entertainment, Mysteries and Scandals,
and Inside the NFL. He has composed for many ballet companies and
accompanied Alvin Aily Live for an Italian Documentary. He co-wrote
the theme song with Amanda McBroom for the film All For Nothin' starring
Ben Kingsly. Regional theater credits include arranging and musical
direction for Songs In The Key of Cy, and The Blond Songbook. Recently,
Regan did the choreagraphy for Cinderella. He is no stranger to caberet
and jazz clubs in the US and Europe. At present, Regan is orchestrating
Jack The Ripper and composing music and lyrics for Joe's Bar which
will be workshopped at the Darress next summer. |
| Lois Buesser - Musical
Director-Lois has performed extensively as accompanist, organist,
chorister and music director. She has performed with Zubin Mehta,
Hugh Wolff, Lloyd Pfautsch, and Bob Hope. With The Enchanted Players,
Lois has been seen as Sister Berthe in The Sound of Music,
played in the pit for Rumpelstiltskin, was Music Director for Annie,
and is on the board. |
| Patrick Mannix - Technical
Director / Lighting design & Operator- This is Patrick's fifth
production with the Enchanted Players, having previously worked on
Cinderella, Steel Magnolias, Little Red Riding Hood, and Annie. He
graduated from William Patterson University in 1998. Previously at
Morris Knolls High School, he was the primary lighting tech for all
plays and musicals as well as the Friday Evening Club's performances
there. He currently plays saxophone in the Denville String Band, assists
the Morris Knolls Marching Band, and enjoys model railroading. |
| Doug Boissonault -Sound
Technician- This will be Doug's fifth show as Sound Technician with
EPI. His past shows with EPI were Cinderella, Annie, Little Red Riding
Hood, and Steel Magnolias. Doug has been involved as a Musician in
such productions of The Mikado, Sweet Charity, I Do, I Do, Man From
La Mancha, and Godspell. He currently plays drums for a classic rock
and blues band Alternative Groove. |
| Mary Ryzuk - Co-founder
of The Enchanted Players, Inc., Mary is a published author of non-fiction
books and oft-produced playwright including all of The Enchanted Players
fairytales. As a singer/actress, she has been performing since she
was three and has been acting ever since (and as her husband would
probably say, not only onstage). |
