Who's Who in the Cast
 
Michael A. Yannuzzi - Harold Hill - Favorite roles include Gypsy “Herbie”, Man of LaMancha “Sancho”, Jesus Christ, Superstar “Judas”. Jefferson Community Players Musical Director for 8 years. Directed Godspell and Jesus Christ, Superstar at the Oak Ridge Presbyterian Church, where he is the Choir Director. Plays with the bands Sandy & the Wanderers, and The Silver Starlite Orchestra, and is the Co-Musical Director of The Steve Ames Show on Comcast Cable.
Christie Oakes - Marian Paroo - Christie has been seen in previous EPI productions such as “Grace” in Annie, “Maria” in Sound of Music, Best of Broadway and many of the Ryzuk's very entertaining fairy tales. This past summer she played as “Edith” in the Ridge Light Opera's version of Pirates of Penzance. Film credits include, Sex and the City, Marci X and the short film The Corset which will be making its debut at the Garden State Film Festival this year. She is proud to once again share the Darress stage with such a talented cast and crew who really make this show shine. She would like to thank her family and her friends for their constant support and kind understanding in her times of need.
Paul Diverio - Marcellus Washburn - Paul is a welcome addition to EPI. Among his many credits he has done “Shrank” in West Side Story, “Mike” in Wait Until Dark, “Robert” in Don’t Dress For Dinner and many others Paul has been musical director for NLT’s Forever Plaid. Off the stage Paul is a high school vice principal and the father of two children, Karen and Jonathan.
Andy Warren - Mayor Shinn - Andy is a newcomer to the Enchanted Players. He has appeared in numerous productions in Connecticut and Ohio including the roles of "Pappy Yocum" in L'll Abner, "Throttlebottom" in Of Thee I Sing and "Orgon" in Tartuffe. He resides in Boonton Township with his wife & two kids.
Annette Winter - Eulalie - Annette was seen in EPI’s productions of Best of Broadway, Cinderella, Steel Magnolias and Once Upon A Mattress. Music Man is special experience for Annette having appeared on B'way in The Prince of Grand Street with the original Music Man, Robert Preston. Thanks to JoAnn and this wonderful cast.
Mary Fitzpatrick - Mrs. Paroo - Lives in Randolph and is employed by The Corporate Communications Group in West Caldwell. This is her first show with Enchanted Players. Previous favorite roles include “Meg Brockie” in Brigadoon, “General Cartwright” in Guys and Dolls, “Granny Zeitel” in Fiddler on the Roof, “Veta Louise” in Harvey, “Betty Meeks” in Foreigner, etc...She’s a Cantor at St. Clement's Church in Rockaway, and a member of Kitchell Memorial Presbyterian Bell Choir. She is on the Board of Directors at Dover Little Theatre in Dover and most recently sang in the Casual Cabaret Fund Raiser.
Gavin Bozza - Winthrop Paroo, Band - Winthrop is happy to make his Daress Theatre debut with the Music Man; Sandcastle Productions: The New Kid “Zack, Shawn, Joey”, Brundage Park Playhouse: Medea “Son #2” & A Child’s Christmas in Wales “Town Child #1”, Brooklawn Middle School: Music Man “Winthrop” Wizard of Oz “Coroner & The Wizard”. Gavin is 13 and attends Brooklawn Middle School. Gavin lives in Parsippany, NJ with his Mom, Dad, brothers Justin & Nathan and sisters Rachael & Vianne. Gavin would like to thank his Parents and Grandparents as well as his managers Paul & Alyse for believing in him.
Anthony Evans - Winthrop Paroo, Band - Anthony is nine years old and got interested in theater because he always loved singing and acting. He has recently appeared in Kids on Broadway at the Darress Theater.
Allie Altieri - Amaryllis - Allie is 12 years old and in the 6th grade at Randolph Middle School. She is in her school and church choirs, plays softball and has been acting and singing for 6 years. This is her third show with EPI Annie and Best of Broadway. She would like to thank JoAnn and Lois for their help and support.
Claire Buesser - Amaryllis - Claire has graced the Darress Theatre stage in Rumpelstiltskin, Annie, Cinderella, and The Best of Broadway, and appeared in The Wizard of Oz at the Carolina Theatre, talent and drama camp shows. She studies voice, piano, dance, clarinet and acting, and enjoys art and good friends.
Angelina Paez - Zaneeta Shinn, Featured Dancer - Angelina is a Senior at Morris Knolls HS. She's very hapy to be in the show & plans to perform as a career. Love to Mommy, Daddy, Ducks, LauraJames, Jonathan, Emiloo, & anyone she didn't mention can cash in a kiss at any time.
Danny Gershaw - Tommy Djilas, Featured Dancer, Band - Danny is an eigth grade student at Valleyview Middle School in Denville where is is the president of the SGA. Previous credits include "Daddy Warbucks in Annie, "Marcellus" in Music Man, and the "Gander" in Charlottes Web. Danny wishes to thank his family for their love and support.
Beth Bernstein - Gracie Shin - Thank you JoAnn and this amazing cast.Theater: Sound of Music, “Gretel” (Darress), Annie "Molly", Pepsico Theater, People Garden touring company, and many ensemble roles. Krysten Wagner - Gracie Shinn - Seven year old Krysten is proud to be performing in her third production with EPI. She also appeared in Annie "Molly" and Best of Broadway. Krysten can be seen in an off-Broadway musical, The People Garden, national television commercials, print ads, and in singer/songwriter Seal's new music video Love's Divine on VH1. Thanks to JoAnn for this opportunity, and all her friends and family.
Danielle Barchetto - Featured Dancer, Townsperson - Danielle is so happy to be a part of the cast of Music Man. A big Thanks to her family and friends for all their love and support! Enjoy the show!
Angela Billings - Maud Dunlop, Pick A Little Ladies, Dancer -Angela is thrilled to make her first appearance at the Darress Theatre. Her favorite credits also include Titanic "Stewardess Robinson", West Side Story "Francesca", and No Exit "Estelle". In film, she has appeared in A Beautiful Mind.
Alexandra J. Boissonault - Lucy Locke, Townsperson, Featured Dancer - This is Alex's second show with EPI, and she is delighted to be apart of such a talented cast. In the past, she has been featured in such shows as Oliver, South Pacific, Once Upon A Mattress, Our Town, Cinderella, The Mousetrap, and Guys and Dolls.
Robert Buesser - Joe Stallings, Townsperson, Band - Robbie has sung in the Advanced Chorus at Rockaway Valley School for two years. He is a talented soccer player, musician and math whiz.
Ron Buesser - Jacey Squires, Salesman, Quartet - Ron is a composer, arranger, orchestrator, and multi-instrumentalist. As a countertenor, Ron has sung for oratorio roles, opera companies, early music ensembles, professional choruses, jazz choirs, rock and pop bands on the East Coast, Canada, and Europe. Ron has studied at Berklee and Julliard music schools. Last seen at the Darress in drag, singing soprano.
Sara Cerasiello - Hans Brinker, Band - Sara is 10 years old and she loves to sing and act. She has appeared in EPI productions of Hansel & Gretel, Annie & The Best of Broadway. She has performed in School Street School production of Annie as “Annie” and played “The Wicked Witch of The West” in The Wizard of Oz. She recently was featured with Grover Kemble and friends at Mt. Tabor's Tabernacle Christmas “Sing-a-Long”.
Yvonne Cook - Alma Hicks, Pick A Little - Yvonne has enjoyed being in many musicals with the Townsquare Players in Rockaway. This will be her first time with EPI, thanks to JoAnn!
Emily Corrao -Sean Murphy, Band - This is Emily's 6th production with EPI. She is thrilled to be working with JoAnn once again. She would like to thank her parents, Nonna, and Grandpa, JoAnne and Shirley Grant who have supported her dream!
Gideon Dabi - Olin, Quartet, Salesman - The baritone from Highland Park, NJ has appeared in several professional opera companies in the area including Opera at Florham and Opera NY. He'd like to thank Ms. Oakes and Ms. Buesser for the opportunity. This is his second musical.
Alyssa DeAlesandro - Peggy Manning, Wan-Tan-Ye, Featured Dancer - Alyssa is thrilled to be in her 4th show with EPI after performing in their production of Annie as “Annie”, an ensemble member in Cinderella, and “Annie” in The Best of Broadway. She has also performed with the BG Theatre Club's productions of The Music Man Jr., Bye-Bye Birdie, The Pajama Game, Once on This Island Jr., and is now performing in Sandcastle Production's, The New Kid.
Diane Gerhold - Mrs. Squires, Pick A Little - Diane is very happy to be making my debut with EPI and delighted to be working with my daughter Katelyn in our first stage production together. I previously performed with Ridgewood Gilbert & Sullivan Opera Company and Montclair Operetta Club.
Katelyn Gerhold - Emily Squires, Townsperson - Katelyn is happy to be making my debut with EPI in The Music Man I am also very happy that I was able to work with my mom in our first stage production together.
Melanie Giuliani - Brenda Stallings, Yan Tan Ye, Townsperson - Melanie is a 7th grader from Montville. She began acting at age 5 and has performed in many shows throughout NJ. This is her first show at Darress; she loves it and looks forward to future shows here.
Spencer Kiely - Don Wyrick, Dancer, Band, Townsperson - Spencer is excited for his 2nd show with EPI, some of Spencer's favorite roles in theater have been: “Rooster” and “Mr.Bundles” in Annie, part of the ensemble in Cinderella, “John” in Peter Pan, & “Johnny” in Really Rosie. He is also currently performing in the traveling show The New Kid (Sandcastle Productions) along with other cast members. He would like to thank JoAnne, Maureen, Lois, and Dale. Much love to Mom, Dad, Cameron, Reed, and his "agent" Laura Luc.
Melanie Ann Lombardi - Eithel Toffelmier, Pick A Little, Featured Dancer, Townsperson - This is Melanie's first production with EPI. She would like to thank the cast and crew as well as her family and friends for their love and support.
Kevin Lyon - Oliver Hicks, Salesman - Kevin is making his Enchanted Players debut, and he is thrilled to be back on stage once again after a long hiatus. He has been heard singing over the years at Our Lady of Mercy church in Whippany and with the Morris Music Men.
Jim McNulty - Charlie Cowell, Salesman - Jim is happy to be part of the show. Love to Grandsons Minke, Greg, and Zack, and Granddaughter, Riannhon, and to Kathy.
Mark Princiatti - Constable Locke, Townsperson - Past performances include "Ira, Ensemble" in Annie, and a "Police Officer" in the production of Wait Until Dark at the Brundage Park Playhouse. He has studied at TVI Actors Studio in New York City and looks forward to working with the cast of Music Man at the Darress Theater.
Jace Reiken - Salesman, Ewart Dunlap - Mostly, his career takes place behind the scenes in the broadcast TV business. But now is thrilled to be joining once again, the talented EPI group. Recent roles include “Mr Daigle” in The Bad Seed, the “Herald” in R&H’s Cinderella, “Mr. Lipari” at The Barn Theater’s production of A View From the Bridge, and the Ball Player, “Sohovik” in the Smiling Rhino’s production of Damn Yankees. I dedicate this quartet part to my late father.
Kristen Schiano - Barb Baker, Featured Dancer, Farmers Wife - Kristen most recently appeared as Magenta in The Rocky Horror Show at Allegro Productions. This May, she will graduate from Drew University with a B.A. in Theatre Arts and English.
Terri Shetler - Peggy Snell, Townsperson, Pick A Little - has been dancing off since she was 4 years old and now teaches at a studio in Springfield. Most recently she appeared in Kiss Me Kate at Villagers Theater and The Mikado with the Stony Hill Players. She would like to thank her husband for his support, without which, she would never have even made it to auditions.
Chelsey Sorbo - Wan Tan Ye, Towsperson, Beth Harris - Chelsey has been in both Annie and The Best of Broadway with The Enchanted Players. She is 12 and has been acting for 4 years.
Nicole Sperone - Kathy Njeman, Wan Tan Ye, Featured Dancer - Nicole is back for a 3rd production with EPI. She's happy to be on stage with her friends again, doing what she loves. Thanks to JoAnne, Bonnie & my family. LOVE YA's
Samatha Turret -Jeanie Brown, Wan Tan Ye, Townsperson - This is Samantha’s 5th production with EPI. She has also performed in many shows at The Brundage Park Playhouse where in February she acted as Sound Tech. & Assistant Stage Manager for Alice in Wonderland. Samantha sings in her school choir, studies voice, and is now appearing in The New Kid, a traveling show by Sandcastle Productions. Thanx Joanne!
Jim Venturini - Salesman, Farmer, Townsperson - Jim is happy to be given a part in The Music Man. Past performances include "Johnny Casino" in Grease, and "Thomas Edison" in The Electric Sunshine Man.
Rob Warren - Featured Dancer, Band, Mark Miller- Ron is an honors student at Rockaway Valley School. He plays trumpet in the School Band and the Jazz Band. He was also selected to be fourth chair trumpet in Area Band this year.
Lizette Zucca - Mrs. Britt, Eulalie Shinn - Lizette is once again happy to be on stage with EPI and with a talented cast. And oh, no autographs please.......…

JoAnn Oakes - Director - Along with Heidi, The Sound of Music, Annie and The Best of Broadway, The Music Man makes the fifth show she has directed for the EPI. JoAnn has worked in almost every aspect of theatre, both on stage and behind the scenes in the U.S. and abroad. When not running their family horse farm, or chairing the “Save our Split Rock committee” she enjoys directing, riding, playing golf and reading. She has recently added a few more minutes to her day, by ending her term as president of the EPI. Once again, she would like to thank her very talented cast and crew. Your professionalism is amazing. And to her wonderful family for their ever present support. Lois and Mo, couldn’t have done it without you, thanks.
Lois Buesser - Musical Director - Lois has performed worldwide as accompanist, organist, chorister and music director. She has performed with Zubin Mehta, Hugh Wolff, Susan Powell, and Bob Hope. With The Enchanted Players, Lois was “Sister Berthe” in The Sound of Music, played for Rumpelstiltskin, was Music Director for Annie and The Best of Broadway, and is on The Enchanted Players Board of Directors.
Maureen Rogalski - Assistant Director - Maureen last appeared with EPI in The Best of Broadway as “Mona” in Chicago. Backstage credits include: stage-managing for Steel Magnolias and Annie. Her short film, The Corset screened at the Garden State Film Festival this past March and the Newport Beach, CA Film Festival this April. Many thanks to all who love and inspire her
Dale Julian Bierce - Choreographer - Dale is the founding Director of The West Side Dance Center in Randolph. She has been a dance and fitness professional for over 15 years. This is her debut with the Enchanted Players. She has choreographed for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, as well as numerous national competitions, shows, and benefit performances. Dale is on the Board of Directors for the DI Performance Foundation; a non-profit organization developed to "give back" to the community and to those less fortunate by providing funding for charitable organizations through charity benefit performances.
Laurie Hall - Set Engineer - Laurie is primarily a singer and actress, but is always happy to pick up a paint brush! She is the past winner of the N.J. Art Directors Award, Art Director for the Montclair Operetta Club, and designs sets for several NJ high school’s annual musicals. She also won the Paper Mill Playhouse award for Steel Pier. She has designed sets for Once Upon A Mattress, The Family Deli, Annie and Cinderella here at the Darress Theatre, and has provided sets for several theater’s in New York.
Patrick Mannix – Technical Director / Lighting design / Lighting operator- This is Patrick’s sixth production with the Enchanted Players, having previously worked on Cinderella, Steel Magnolias, Little Red Riding Hood, and Annie. He graduated from William Patterson University in 1998. Previously at Morris Knolls High School, he was the primary lighting tech for all plays and musicals as well as the Friday Evening Club’s performances there. He currently plays saxophone in the Denville String Band, assists the Morris Knolls Marching Band, and enjoys model railroading.
Doug Boissonault - Sound Engineer— This is Doug's sixth show at the Daress having been involved with Annie, Little Red Riding Hood, Steel Magnolia's, Cinderella, and The Best of Broadway. Doug is also a board member of EPI. His work with The Enchanted Players has been "the most rewarding" and looks forward to many more productions. "Break a leg, Guy's."
Kevin Fisher - Stage Manager - Kevin is happy to be returning to the Darress for another EPI production. He has worked on many past shows and would like to thank his friends and family.
