The Enchanted Players bring back Vaudeville at it's bawdy best !! Join us as we step back to the time of the 1910's, 20's, & 30's with acts that juggle, perform magic, sing, dance and make you laugh with hilarious comedy skits from this era. Into the Woods Junior is an engaging and funny Sondheim musical comedy that twists familiar fairy tales into a brand new story. When a Baker and his Wife learn they've been cursed with childlessness by the Witch next door, they embark on a quest for the special objects required to break the spell. Cinderella, Prince Charming, Red Riding Hood, and Jack with his beanstalk, are just a few of those they encounter during their adventures. This classic Brothers Grimm fairy tale comes to life with the original score composed by Regan Ryzuk complimented by the experienced writer of original fairy tales, Mary Ryzuk. Come watch as Hansel and Gretel get lost in the woods and meet the witch who entices them into her gingerbread house and fattens them up. Once they learn they will be eaten, they plot against the evil witch to save themselves. The Enchanted Player version of the beloved tale includes witty characters and playful songs.
