Maureen Rogalski
Maureen Rogalski is very happy to be part of the Enchanted Players,
Inc. She has worked on many of their productions in past seasons.
She is currently working as the assistant director for "The
Music Man". Prior to that she could be found lurking backstage
as the stage manager for "Steel Magnolias" and "Annie".
Other EPI credits include assistant director for "The Sound
of Music" and "Heidi", and lighting for "Christmas
Snow".
When not behind the scenes, Maureen likes to try her hand at being
on stage. She last appeared with EPI as "Mona" in Chicago
as part of the Best of Broadway fundraiser. Other roles include
"Gloria" in I.S.O. at Theatre Studios Inc in N.Y.C, "Ruth"
in Cosi at the Dover Little Theatre, an East Ender in the Ryzuk's
Jack the Ripper, Twelfth Night at Seton Hall University and some
others at the now defunct Rockaway Townsquare Playhouse. Maureen
currently studies voice with Joanna Hoty Russell and hip hop dance
with Dale Julian Bierce.
Maureen's true passion, however, is film production in every aspect.
She is a graduate of Seton Hall University with a B.A. in Communications
with a focus in film. Her first film job was as a Production Assistant
for a horror feature called Nightmare at Shallow Point. After that
she upgraded to a Second Assistant Director for a feature called
Dead Dogs Lie that starred Tommy Flanagan and featured Peter Greene.
This film showcased at the Atlantic City, Malibu Beach and Phoenix
film festivals in 2002. Currently a short film entitled "The
Corset" that she co-produced will be screening in competition
at the Garden State Film Festival and the Newport Beach, CA Film
Festival this March and April respectively. One of Maureen's most
rewarding and exciting experiences is volunteering at the Tribecca
Film Festival since it's start in May 2002. She also has volunteered
at the I.F.P. Market in N.Y.C. as well.
